"It's About Kids" is a
ministry to orphaned and abandoned children in Ecuador, South America.
Our purpose is to "make disciples" for Jesus Christ among these
precious little ones He has given to our care. While it is true that
the Bible speaks of the value of children to our Lord, and that "true
religion" includes caring for those who are fatherless ( James 1:27),
it is not the primary purpose of "It's About Kids" to feed and clothe
children. Of course these necessities will be inherent in what God has
called us to here in Ecuador. Still, it is a purpose of infinitely
greater value that we are in pursuit of among the fatherless here, and
that is doing our part in coming along side our Lord Jesus Christ in
His "great commission" to "go and make disciples of all nations",
Matthew 28:19. |
